Nature's Path Food joins How2Recycle

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — Nature’s Path Foods Inc., North America’s largest certified organic breakfast and snack food company, is the latest organization to join How2Recycle. Consumers will soon see the How2Recycle label on the entire Nature’s Path product line, including cereals, granola bars, cookies, toaster pastries, and more.

“Our mission at Nature’s Path is to always leave the Earth better than we found it, and every day we strive to improve our sustainability practices. One of our family’s main goals is to have a zero-waste impact,” says Jyoti Stephens, Sr. Director, Human Resources and Sustainability, Nature’s Path. “Many of our customers are as dedicated to the health of the planet as we are and, for this reason, we’re thrilled to partner with How2Recyle. Together, we will ensure that consumers know how to recycle our packaging thereby leaving the Earth cleaner and greener.”

The How2Recycle label informs consumers how they can properly recycle all types of Nature’s Path packaging. This standardized labeling system is a first of its kind for simplifying on-package recycling communications and providing information on every packaging component, thereby taking the guesswork out of recycling.

“How2Recycle will further complement Nature’s Path’s sustainability message by instructing their consumers how to simply and accurately recycle their packaging,” says Caroline Cox, Project Associate at Sustainable Packaging Coalition.
