CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, OCTOBER 26, 2016 — Amy’s Kitchen, an international brand focused on providing organic and vegetarian frozen food options, is the latest member to join How2Recycle. Amy’s will join over 55 other member companies using the How2Recycle label to communicate packaging recyclability information to consumers.
"Amy's has long recognized the importance of messaging in optimizing the effectiveness of recycling systems. How2Recycle supports that aim by helping consumers navigate the complexity of waste and recycling systems and understand how they should dispose of individual packaging components. We're proud to be a part of that." Renaud des Rosiers, Sustainability Manager, Amy's Kitchen.
Amy’s will be using the How2Recycle label on its many frozen meals, individually wrapped burritos, salsas and pasta sauce, as well as cans of soup. Consumers can expect to see the label on products in stores later this year.
“Amy’s Kitchen will empower its consumers through How2Recycle’s precise and accurate recycling instructions on package,” says Kelly Cramer, Senior Manager at the Sustainable Packaging Coalition.
